What Does It Take To Make Money From Blogging

What Does It Take To Make Money From Blogging?

Have you ever thought about starting a blog as a way to make extra money?

Don’t get me wrong. People talk a lot about making money blogging.

It’s not a quick fix. A blog is not going to make you a millionaire overnight.

But it can be the start of your very own business. With some time, effort and a lot of hard work, a blog can provide a very secure and comfortable source of income.

Can you make money blogging?

I started Boost My Budget nearly a year ago. For several months, I didn’t make any money at all with my blog. But just look what’s happened over the last three months:

Boost My Budget blog income

  • June 2017: £95
  • July 2017: £156.66
  • August 2017: £252.91

(You can check my full income reports here.)

It might not be a huge amount of money yet, but you can see that it’s starting to snowball.

Each month I can see my affiliate commissions increasing. I also get more and more requests for sponsored posts. I have so many ideas for ways to develop my blog in future, and my dream now is to become a full time blogger.

A year ago, I would have thought that was crazy. But now I believe it’s totally possible!

In fact, I’ve just spent the weekend at the UK Money Bloggers conference, where I met absolutely loads of people with blogs just like mine who make a full time living from blogging.

Blogging can be a lucrative side hustle, or a valid career choice! It’s all up to you.

Take a look at this list of people making for 4 to 6 figures each month from blogging, on topics as diverse as recipes to parenting to golf techniques. One of the best things about blogging is that you can choose whatever topic you’re interested in, and find a way to monetise it!

As a full time blogger, you can be your own boss. You can work from anywhere in the world, and choose the hours that suit you.

Get blogging training

One thing I’ve learned since I’ve started blogging is, if you’re serious about making money from your blog, you can’t just make it up as you go along.

(Like I did for several months!)

You need to follow some kind of training, and you need to know the best strategies to develop and monetise your blog.

That’s why I’m incredibly excited about the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit that’s launching next week.

The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit from Ultimate Bundles is a GIGANTIC package of the best blogging tools and resources, covering topics from starting a blog to getting traffic to promoting it with social media.

It includes 28 eBooks, 43 videos and eCourses, 16 printables, 10 digital bonuses and more. There are books and courses for everyone from total beginners to professional bloggers.

Unbelievably, this package has a total value of $5,802.51, but next week it will be on sale for a limited time only for just $97.

Yes, I know it sounds too good to be true! But I can confirm it’s legit, because I’ve already purchased my own early bird copy 🙂

There is SO MUCH great information in there, including several courses I’d planned to buy at some point anyway – already saving me money.

I honestly wish I’d had this when I’d started my blog. I know I’d have started making money much sooner with some kind of training and plan. As it is, I’m so happy to get my hands on it now, to help me develop my blog professionally over the year ahead!

The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit will ONLY be available between 2nd October and 9th October 2017.

Click here to be notified as soon as it goes on sale. Don’t miss out!

    1. Thanks Terence! My income is not huge compared to some bloggers out there but it’s so exciting to watch it grow! And the toolkit is amazing. I’ve downloaded so many books already and can’t decide which order to do them in!

    1. I totally agree, Joshua! I worked for a long time on my blog without making anything, but now I’m starting to see the returns and I’m so glad I kept up the effort. Thanks for your comment!
