Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week

This week I’m taking part in the Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week linky. This is an idea started by Emma from Mum’s Savvy Savings, Cass from The Diary of a Frugal Family and Becky from Family Budgeting to share ways that they and other bloggers are saving money each week.

I’m not the most frugal person in the world, but I do love a bargain and I hate paying for things I don’t have to! I thought this linky sounds like a great idea to motivate everyone to look for ways to save money throughout the week. If you want to find out how to get …

Citizenme App Review - make money from surveys on your phone

Citizenme App Review: Instant Cash for Mini Surveys

I’m always looking for ways to make money on my phone.

Recently I’ve had some success with OnePulse and Spare5.

Now, I’ve found a brand new app to share with you!

It’s called Citizenme and it pays you instantly to complete short surveys on your phone.

What is Citzenme?

Time management is essential

Side hustling alongside a full time job is not easy. It takes time and discipline. Time management is never something I’ve been great at, but seeing the money add …

Book Review: Rich Dad Poor Dad

As part of the Boost My Budget project I’m challenging myself to read one money-related book every month! See previous reviews here

This month’s review is  by Robert T. Kiyosaki.

I was excited to read this book!

According to the cover, it’s ‘the #1 personal finance book of all time’. I’ve seen it recommended over and over again on personal finance blogs and reading lists.

So did I love it?

Hmm.

Some parts are definitely very motivating. Kiyosaki is a smooth talker, and I can see why the book is a best seller.

As he reminds us constantly, he is first and foremost a salesman, after all.

Despite this …
